The City of Gold Coast has launched a comprehensive Open Data Portal to provide easy access to the Citys published GIS data, including environmental, parks and recreation, stormwater, water and sewer, planning and buildng, and transport.
How you use the data is entirely up to you – view it, map it, style it, chart it, download it or share it.
The Open Data Portal is in support of the Queensland Government’s priority to ensure information is publicly available through open data.
The City of Gold Coast hopes that open data will help the community:
- create applications
- establish research programs
- start new businesses
- assist with improving government service delivery
